Meet Florence

  • Florence is an Osteopathic care provider and movement enthusiast in Toronto. With an eclectic background that includes competitive athletics and dance, yoga and pilates instruction, and a deep knowledge of human kinetics, she brings a holistic approach to care. Florence graduated with a Kinesiology degree from McMaster University, where she also pursued her passion for dance with the modern dance company.

Florence completed her Osteopathic training at the Canadian College of Osteopathy (CCO), in Toronto and later defended her thesis which examined the effects of Osteopathic treatment on diastasis-recti (the condition of “over-stretched” abdominal muscles during and after pregnancy).

Florence completed her DONA approved Birth Doula Training at Toronto Yoga Mamas and has had the privilege of attending a handful of births.

For as long as I can remember, I have dreamt of creating a physical space that holds a strong identity and cultivates community. For the past decade my teaching and clinical practice has been dominated by perinatal and pediatric care. I am passionate about educating and supporting soon to be parents, new parents and all of their babies. I like to work in collaboration with other healthcare providers to optimize and promote the self-healing mechanism of the body. With a strong athletic and movement background, I like to integrate all manual therapy with functional strengthening and mobility. It truly is a privilege to take care of you and all of those who are so dear to you!
